Cyclura are long lived, personable , herbivorous lizards . Captive bred babies do very well in captivity . Wild populations of Rhino Iguanas ( Cyclura cornuta ) are in peril , as with all Cyclura , due to habitat destruction and the introduction of feral animals to their limited island habitats. These rhinos were born and raised in captivity and the female (Cleopatra ) produces 20-25 offspring each year in October , which is more than the average clutch for this species in the wild .
